Fake Gains, Real Damage

Fake Gains, Real Damage

Steroids. We all know not to use them, and any sane person will tell you to stay away, no matter how old you are. But why?  People on roids are so much stronger than a natty could ever be. They look better, lift heavier, and they might even start competing professionally.
Well, none of these “benefits” compares with the endless list of problems. From feeling down all the time to being at high risk of injury, it just isn’t worth it, and you know that. Then, why am I writing this blog? It's to make sure you don’t end up using these shortcuts ever, regardless of your situation. Even if your progress seems to plateau, or you feel certain parts of your body might be underdeveloped, steroids are never the answer.
Users of steroids often claim that there is only a certain limit that you can achieve by being all natural, and while that might be true, I genuinely don’t think a single person has reached that limit. If you're really strong, try getting faster on your feet. If you can bench press a hefty weight, then maybe shift focus to your legs. If you can sprint at high speeds, then start building up your stamina. There’s always some aspect of your fitness that you haven’t quite developed, and even the ones that you think you have, there’s still probably room for improvement.
So that’s it. A very simple takeaway from this blog: Stay away from steroids. Now go out there and crush it!
